Nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina y de formación autodidacta.
Max Araujo ha desarrollado su carrera viviendo en diferentes ciudades: Buenos Aires, Nueva York, Bahía (Brasil) y Madrid.
Sus obras han sido expuestas en: Amsterdam, Madrid, Mallorca, Singapur, Miami, París, Rumania, Hong Kong, Suiza, Barcelona, Luxemburgo, Brasil y Argentina.
Sus pinturas se pueden encontrar en colecciones privadas alrededor del mundo.
Mis influencias provienen del Surrealismo, Street Art, Comics y Outsider Art y decantan en un nuevo movimiento artístico llamado “Alucinismo”
¿Qué es el Alucinismo? El “Alucinismo” sigue las formas del universo donde todo es multidimensional, el tiempo no es sólido como lo es la realidad.
Un tema fundamental en mis obras es el mensaje, creo que el arte tiene que estar en el presente y debe ser una herramienta de transformación, reflejando las bellezas y los problemas cotidianos de la sociedad en la que vivimos.
También la expresión de sentimientos y dudas existenciales como el amor, el miedo, la muerte, que forman parte de este todo. Mis obras no son meramente decorativas, ya que una obra sin mensaje carece de sustancia. Desde esta perspectiva, trato de generar conciencia para vivir en un mundo mejor.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and self-taught.
Max Araujo has developed his career living in different cities: Buenos Aires, New York, Bahia (Brazil) and Madrid.
His works have been exhibited in: Amsterdam, Madrid, Mallorca, Singapore, Miami, Paris, Romania, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Barcelona, Luxembourg, Brazil and Argentina.
His paintings can be found in private collections around the world.
My influences come from Surrealism, Street Art, Comics and Outsider Art and they decant into a new artistic movement called “Hallucinism”
What is Hallucinism?. “Hallucinism” follows the forms of the universe where everything is multidimensional, time is not solid as is reality.
A fundamental theme in my works is the message, I believe that art has to be in the present and must be a tool of transformation, reflecting the beauties and everyday problems of the society in which we live.
Also the expression of feelings and existential doubts such as love, fear, death, which are part of this whole.
My works are not merely decorative, since a work without a message lacks substance. From this perspective, I try to generate awareness to live in a better world.
